At minimum, you must: 

• Be at least 21 years old

• Have a valid US driver’s license 

• Pay a fee of $35 for a Pedicab Operators Permit at the Boston Police Hackney Carriage Unit

In addition to simply being able to ride a tricycle, a strong command of the English language and a great attitude are essential to being a great driver.  During a training session, we will cover all of the skills you need to master this weird/amazing craft, and explain why pedicabbing is so addictive that some folks are still driving in Boston after 9+ years.
